Do I need to write the diary myself?
No. Your other self writes it automatically. You only need to pick a mood or whisper how you feel.
Is privacy protected?
Your diary and memories are saved on your devices and in iCloud. Some input is sent to external AI services to generate entries. Read our
Privacy Policy for details.
How long until the diary deepens?
Your thoughts, moods, and past entries become memories for your other self. The more you record, the more there is to reflect on.
How is this different from a chat app?
Mimu is not a chat app. Your other self is "another you" who observes your day and records it as a diary. The core is observation and recording, not dialogue.
About subscription and pricing
Mimu uses an in-app subscription. Check the App Store and in-app purchase screen for current prices, trial eligibility, and automatic renewal details.
Is there a trial?
Trial availability and eligibility depend on your region and account. Check the in-app purchase screen for your offer.
Can I use it on multiple devices?
Yes. Your diary and your other self's memories sync across iPhone and iPad via iCloud. By choosing a primary device, you can consolidate diary generation onto one.
If I cancel, are my diaries lost?
No · your records remain in iCloud. Your other self enters a "sleeping" state, and awakens when you resume.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later.
